The Orchestra Brasil Project to encourage exports – supported by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) - supports the participation of 14 Brazilian companies in Tecno Mueble Internacional 2019 in Guadalajara. The goal of the participation in the Mexican fair taking place from August 14 t- 17 is to increase exports from the furniture industry suppliers to Mexico and Central America.

Companies receiving support to take part in Arpi, Crippa, Gaidzinski Máquinas, Lamiecco, Lidear, LRB Química, Lufati, Maquinapack, PCR, Projepack, Promob, Tecbril, Renner and Tramontina. The intention is to strengthen both the negotiations and the positioning of this segment abroad. This fair is considered one of the main in Latin America for the furniture industry suppliers.

Mexico is the second largest economy in Latin America. It is one of the top 10 export destinations for companies supported by the Orchestra Brasil Project and there has been a general increase in Mexican imports of products made in Brazil, particularly machinery and equipment.

The Orchestra Brasil Project, organized by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), boosts and promotes the competitive inclusion of Brazilian suppliers to the furniture industry in the international market. The initiatives developed by the project include the participation in international fairs and buyer’s and seller’s projects, in addition to trade and technical missions. Approximately 50 Brazilian companies take part in the project producing accessories, components, tools, machines, layout software and raw materials.
