Fifteen companies were selected to furnish the Consumer’s House of the New Brazil, during the second edition the project coordinated by Salão Design competition, which will be held during Movelsul, from March 26-30. The companies that will furnish a 60m² apartment based on the My House, My Life program include: Bertolini, Bartzen, Multimóveis, Pomzan, BRV Móveis and Móveis Stein. The apartment, where a family of the new Brazilian middle class lives, consisting of a couple, two daughters and the paternal grandfather, has 3 bedrooms, a living and dining room, a kitchen, a laundry and a bathroom. The needs of these characters inspired the projects submitted for the creation of this home. The projects were chosen by ArqMAD architecture office, which is in charge of the furnishing projects of the fair. In addition to the suggestions from exhibitors, another aspect taken into account was the use of raw materials manufactured by Impress and Berneck, sponsors of the show. At the request of Sindmóveis, Data Popular collected data during a survey that provided specific information to the furniture sector, showing that the new middle class – comprised of classes C and D - represents over 50% of the population of our country. This new class consists of demanding consumers, who want both to know the product they wish to purchase and to provide more education, leisure and quality of life to their family. The list containing the names of all the companies that will furnish the Consumer’s House of the New Brazil is available at: http://www.salaodesign.com.br/blog/
